![]() (As a gotcha the dwarf selects a target item when he takes the job, and if he's not at the workshop when he does that then something else may well be closest. The main game mode, Fortress mode, is a colony management game that starts with selecting a suitable site from the generated world, establishing a successful colony or fortress, combating threats like goblin invasions, monster sieges, or undead hordes, generating economic wealth and taking care of the dwarves. This may also influence mooding dwarves, if they don't have a preference for a material they seem to go for the closest that fits the bill, so it doesn't hurt to surround the forge of your Professional Weaponsmith who likes Warhammers with a platinum stockpile and hope he moods at the anvil. Masterwork Dwarf Fortress (44.12) - (v V.1.31) posted by ChumChard on Feb 16, 2022, 03:32:09 pm Hey I'm new to Dwarf Fortress and I downloaded this mod and it works but its hyper zoomed in and when I try to zoom out using the scroll but it doesn't work. When you set a job like 'Decorate with bone' or gems or whatever, the dwarf selects the closest upgradable item (of note, they are z-blind, they only look at X/Y coordinates, true for all dwarf pathfinding).īy using multipile piles with some of them having strict quality/material/object settings you can more or less decide what that dwarf will decorate by having it be the closest items. Masterwork has a launch interface like LNP, and each additional building (like the Incinerator) can be toggled on / off (its not one toggle for 30+ buildings). ![]() ![]() A more advanced usage of seperate piles would be stuff like targeted decoration.
